I received another campaign from BzzAgent this month and so i have been trying this the Herbal Essence Naked shampoo for Volume. The kit was huge and it came with one full sized shampoo and conditioner, one full size souffle (mousse), and 3 each of the shampoo and conditioners in travel sizes. It was a very generous sample, but i will be honest with my review. I have told all my friends about Bzzagent and this campaign too. Here is my campaign review for the product below.
The first thing that i noticed about the shampoo is that is smells great and the scent lasts for awhile just like the clear therapy shampoo i used. I don't really smell or feel any mint when using the shampoo but nevertheless, it does invigorate the senses. The shampoo did make my hair have some body, so it did not go limp but the softness isn't apparent; it just feels like a normal shampoo. My hair is thin, so it is always lightweight, the shampoo itself is lightweight and very clear, like a gel water base, which is interesting. This seems to verify the no silicone claim their shampoo advertises. The conditioner is a must because after shampooing, one will notice that your hair is squeaky clean. I feel that the conditioner restores the moisture but perhaps only to the point of a normal shampoo. The souffle is pretty good for styling purposes. I curled my hair after running this through my hair and it maintained the style of the hair throughout the day quite well.
Overall i would give it a neutral to high rating mostly because it causes my hair to somewhat shed more and it isn't quite as soft as i wished it was. The smell is amazing though and since it doesn't advertise moisture, it shouldn't be penalized for it, one more positive is that it is paraben free; always a plus. I wished it was also sulphur free though.
