Hera UV Mist Cushion Ultra Moisture

Another review today and i am actually in the middle about this product.  This is something that is not readily available to at just any store.  If you live in Korea, its quite accessible, otherwise if your like me and live in Canada, you would have to order this online.  I got this at www.twofacemall.com.

Now this brand is a korean luxury brand, so as you can imagine the price isn't cheap.  This retails for about $51 USD and it comes with 15g of product in the container and 15g refill, for a total of 30g of product.  The packaging is beautiful and it looks very luxurious and i love the color and the hologram detail on compact.  It comes with a puff that is antibacterial sitting on the divider section like most of these BB or CC cushions on the market. It also comes with a mirror like most compacts.  The width size is thicker on these BB or CC type products but thats a given and so i don't really mind that.

So the product itself is the most important thing.

The pros:
It looks natural on
It smells so good
Its very convenient and easy to use
Dewy finish (which i like, depends on you)
Moisturizing

The Cons:
It has light coverage (if you have any blemish thats big, it wont cover that)
Takes awhile to blend/pat in the product
Not a large color range (most of these korean products don't)

Overall, this product is 3.5 stars out of 5.  The reason being, if you have very nice skin with minimal blemishes and you want something to just even out your skin tone, this is excellent for that.  It looks natural on and it gives you a healthy, dewy looking finish which is the trend in Korea now.  If I had perfect skin, would love this product.  I also got a color that was too light for me, C21, which is the lightest one.  The second one is C23, that would have worked better.  There are only 3 colors for this product.  I like the idea of these products, but for me to wear this, i have to powder over with something that fits my skin tone.  I couldn't give it a terrible score because the product isn't bad, my skin is; but also because it smells so refreshing in the morning.

Eyeko Making Eyes Automatic Gel Eyeliner

OK, if i am breaking my "retirement" and writing a blog post about this product, that means its amaze balls.
I would love to make a video about an eyeliner, but i'm sure all of you know how these types of liners work.  This particular one i got is in the color midnight blue. It retails for about $23 CAD at Sephora, and it is online only at the moment.  I had faith that Eyeko would make a good pencil gel liner and i was right. I am always looking for a good pencil liner that will just stay on and not much.  Preferably one that i don't have to sharpen, because i am lazy.  This is a clear winner in my books.  Lets break it down:

It goes on smoothly
Rich in color
Stays on all day (i swear)
Removes quite easily for the staying power
Its automatic

Thats 5/5 in my books, not to mention bonus features such as coming with a sharpener at the end of the pencil, like most gel liners these days to get that tip nice and sharp for a crisp look.  I rather use a pencil/gel liner for my everyday makeup for work any day.  This is because you can fix it easier and it doesn't look overly dramatic, just very natural.

I couldn't say that the price is very cheap or anything, but liners around the same level of brand retails for around the same if not more.  I got this during the VIB sale that happened a bit ago, so you know i tested this out for awhile.  I love the color, its very stunning and dark enough to look almost black.  There is a hint of sparkle to the color, but its not over baring at all and it just gives it something extra, without having glitter fall all over your face.  There is a black color which i have ordered recently, but i am sure that is great as well.

Overall, very happy about this purchase and i would definitely recommend this to anyone.

UPDATE:

I ordered the black one for this as well afterwards and tried it out.  I do not recommend that one at all.  It does smudge on my eyes, its very obvious smudging too.  I would stick with the midnight blue, i still love it a lot.  Even though it stays on all day, it is easily removed compared to the black.  Hard to remove, but it still smudges WTF?!?

Conclusion:  Stick to MIDNIGHT BLUE~
