Buffalo Fail

I was given the opportunity to review the Pillsbury Pizza Pops in the new Buffalo Wing Flavour by Bzzagent, which is a reviewing company.

I had the previous Pillsbury Pizza Pops before these new flavours came out and i was intrigued by the new flavours.  To be honest, i already had a feeling i would not like it very much because i am not a spicy eater type person.  I decided it would be objective if i only commented on the ingredients and the overall quality.

Firstly, the crust was probably the best part, as it does not stray from the original.  However, it basically gets worse from there.  The sauce taste like fake tomatoes and they just add spice to it to make a buffalo sauce.   The chicken was just there, and it taste like it was from a can.  There was barely any cheese in it; even though it is a buffalo wing flavour, it is still a pizza pop meaning cheese is self-explanatory.

In conclusions, i would go for the original flavours rather than this one.

Brush and Rinse

I want to start off my introducing how i got to trying these products.  It is thanks to BzzAgent.  They are a website where different campaigns are available to be given to its members.  You do have to be invited in order to join a campaign, so doing surveys are an important process in getting chosen to participate.  Once your invited to join, they send you a package of the campaign and tell you about the product.  You then use the products and review what you think of it.  It is very fun and free to join.  www.bzzagent.com/

Let us get straight to the review.  First thing i tried was the toothpaste.  I read the claims carefully, and it pretty much says the same stuff as my regular toothpaste.  I don't have poor dental hygiene, so it is hard for me to say yes or no to whether their claims are true.  What i do get from the overall packaging and message, however, is that your teeth will feel cleaner than a regular toothpaste.  I do feel that after i brush my teeth have a squeakier feeling than normal, but its not the gross kind of squeaky clean, so perhaps it does do that.  It terms of the taste, i feel that it is alright, but it doesn't taste as minty as the regular toothpaste i use.  Some people might like that better. Overall, the toothpaste is very normal.  By that, i mean it doesn't specialize in whitening.  So i also can't judge for that;  do i feel like it whitened my teeth.  Not really, but it didn't make it yellow or anything.

The mouthwash is something i have used in the past.  I'm not a fan of this mouthwash because it turns my teeth a slight blue color.  it is very very subtle, and if you don't look very hard, you won't notice.  But i did notice as with Listerine.  I find all the blue mouthwashes turns my teeth blue.  This is why i like the Listerine whitening pre-wash formula much better.  It terms of whether is kills germs, i feel like it does what it claims.  Although, again, i don't have terrible hygiene and nothing significantly improved while i was using it, so it is hard to tell.

The toothbrush makes me very biased, because i normally use an electric toothbrush and nothing feels cleaner than that.  The toothbrush claims for a cleaner feeling than other manual toothbrushes, so it isn't falsely claiming anything.  However, i'm not a big fan of the plastic bristles on the toothbrush.  I have sensitive gums, so it is quite uncomfortable and almost feels not normal.

Overall, the products are just mediocre because there isn't a significant difference after using any products.  It gets 3 stars because it didn't make anything worse and still works as the product itself is comparable to other teeth products.

Mintbarry.co

It's been such a long time since i last blogged about anything.  Today i wanted to talk about an order i made from Mintbarry.co.  I saw a bracelet that i thought was the cutest thing on Bubzbeauty and i just really wanted it.  It was listed underneath as being from a site called mintbarry.co and of course it is an original hand-made design from a Youtuber, Evelina.  The site ships internationally and the shipping was $9 for the 2 bracelets i decided to purchase so i thought that was ok.

One thing i wanted to mention was that they have really great customer service.  I accidentally ordered my bracelets in the size medium, but i should have been a small so i emailed them and they changed my order right away to small size.  I very much appreciated that because i have very small wrists.  Its actually very hard for me to find chain-type bracelets that fit well.

The bracelets were $22 each but i had a 15% off coupon code until July 1st.  I'm not sure if there are other codes or promotions currently.

I received my order in about a week, so it isn't too bad at all.  When i received it, i was a bit disappointed in how lightweight the bracelet is, since i like my bracelets with a bit of weight to it. So far i only worn it once and it was hot, so there isn't any colour rubbing off or anything, which is a good thing.  The design is very sturdy and i love how you can pick a size.  It is a great design and i like how the little tag that has the mintbarry logo on it moves around it clinks against the chain to produce some noise ( like noisy bracelets).  It isn't loud or anything and it is quite comfortable to wear.  Since it is not dangly, it is perfect for those who work in an office or does paper work and not have to worry about it scratching or getting in the way.

It comes in a little box and the box has the cushioning made out of the puffy cotton like a regular jewelry box.  It has the logo on the front and looks adorable. It also comes with a business card, which i gave to my coworker.

Overall, i love the design of the bracelet and the unique feature; definitely worth a look if anyone is interested.  I would recommend it for anyone with small wrists :)
